Bernhard documents his approach step by step, covering the construction and painting of vehicles, figures and groundwork, as well as weathering and composition.
The historical sections provide the context behind each diorama, making the book both a detailed record of Bernhard Lustig’s modelling techniques and an exploration of the real events, vehicles and locations represented in his work.
